Course Aim:

Subject to an 80% pass mark, the qualifying learner will be capable of effectively and safely performing operational procedures and policies relating to entering, working and exiting in confined spaces. The candidate will be able to identify confined space hazards and precautions required to work safely in the environment.

Course Design

This is a full 2 day course covering 4 modules including practical sessions.

Assessment:

  1. Assessment is done by Self, Peer and Facilitator evaluation throughout the course
  2. The Leaner will complete a P.O.E. (Portfolio of Evidence) which will be submitted, assessed with an 80% pass rate and internally moderated before a competency certificate is issued.
